Distilling Summer Camp's message and identity
Summer Camp Outfitters started as a retail store. As they found more and more success, they wanted to engage a wider audience by taking their boutique online. Once they got online, however, they found that it was much harder to create the 'vibe' they were able to create so easily. At the core of it, they found themselves stuck at every step of the decision-making process. Unsure of their brand's identity and therefore unable to communicate it.
Goals:
Stephanie and Chloe came to me looking for an 'about' page. After hearing their challenges, it was clear that they were trying to gain clarity on their messaging through this. After two days of brainstorming and workshopping, we were able to take all their ideas of who they were and distill them into a clear brand messaging guide.
At the end, Stephanie said:
“The process was so helpful in helping us understand our brand better and how it communicates to our customers and the rest of the world. She really took the time to understand our vision and goals, and we were so impressed with how well she translated it to words. We will definitely be return customers!”
